If we seek to win the hearts of those outside our family (who are actually other people's children) but we fail to win the hearts of our own children, we miss an important truth.  It is only right that we win the hearts of those for whom we have primary responsibility before we take on the responsibility of other men's hearts for the Lord.  We actually earn the right to fish for other men's hearts by our obedience to fish first for hearts with our own families."
