Here is a brief update on our kids. I can barely keep up with them myself, much less keep their updates posted to a website!
Our oldest son Jon graduated from high school in 1999, from the University of Florida in 2004, and from Oak Brook College of Law in 2004. In 2005, he moved to California to begin practicing law, and married Miss Sally Kravik. Sally also graduated from OBCL and practiced law until the arrival of our first grandbaby, Jack William, in 2008. She is now a full-time wife and mom, keeping her license active. She also serves as a dedicated and wonderful camera-wielding historian of all-things-Jack for two sets of out-of-state grandparents.
James graduated from high school in 2003, from Santa Fe Community College's plumbing school in 2008, and promptly became certified as a Master Plumber. He opened J.W. Freeman Plumbing Company in Gainesville in 2008. James stays busy growing his business, and is engaged to marry Miss Amy McConn in 2010.
Kate graduated in 2004, received her RN degree from Santa Fe Community College in 2006, and then went to work in a level-one trauma center Emergency Room for a year. She enjoyed it so much she decided to pursue med school. She's currently finishing her BS at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
Daniel graduated in 2007, took a year off to serve as a White House Intern, then spent a semester at Columbia Internaional University, and wrapped up his AA at Santa Fe Community College in 2009. He is currently pursuing a BA in Psychology at the University of Central Florida. He and Kate are now college roommates.
Stephen graduated in 2008, got his EMT certification over the summer, and then spent a year at Columbia International University. He is currently pursuing a degree in teaching, and is Kate and Daniel’s roommate in Orlando.
Patrick is on track to graduate from high school in 2010 with an A.S. degree in Information Technology from Santa Fe College. He plans to pursue a BS in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida in the fall of 2010 - and become Kate, Daniel and Stephen's roomate!
Joel is our last homeschooled student, and is on track to graduate from high school in 2013.
