Theodore Roosevelt

Our family began home schooling in 1986 when our first child turned five, and we now have only one student left of homeschooling age.  He is in high school, so we are nearing the end of our homeschooling journey!  We join thousands of families across the nation and around the world in saying that home education has been a very rewarding experience.

If you live in Florida and are considering homeschooling, you'll want to bookmark the Home Education Foundation's website for current info on dual enrollment, sports participation, legislation and much more www.flhef.org

If you live in the North Central Florida area, you'll want to sign up for Mike and Juli Stewart's free Titus 2 Homeschool Newsletter.  Contact Juli at mandjstewart@cox.net

You'll also want to sign up for the Mom's Meetings where homeschool info classes are also offered.  Just Click on Moms’ Meetings or contact mardy@thefreemans.org for more info.

In case you're wondering if home education really works, you can check out the National Home Education Research Institute www.nheri.org where Dr. Brian Ray has been tracking home education stats for over twenty years.  Home educated students Titus 2 Homeschool Newsletter do better academically and socially than public and private school children.
